Frequently Asked Questions

My book is due, how should I return it?

Book drops are not available during closures. Please hold onto materials until the library reopens. Due dates are being extended, even if you previously received an overdue reminder. All items in checked out status have been extended to the end of the semester; or if necessary, when the college reopens. If you need to return a book because you are graduating or leaving the area, contact library staff to arrange a return.

Can I request a book from another library?

Requesting physical items through the library, including Interlibrary Loan, is suspended during the closure.

Can I still get research or citation help?

Absolutely! Contact us at or 970-542-3185. We will answer your questions as quickly as possible from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Thursday and 8am to 3pm on Friday.

When will the library reopen?

Morgan Community College Library will reopen when leadership determines it is safe to do so.
